Today we watched as Firefox 9.0 was made available on different download sites around the web. And is now available now for download on the official Mozilla website. Mozilla is officially announcing and pushing the update tomorrow. There isn’t anything different graphically in the user interface in this release. Mozilla touts this version of Firefox will improve JavaScript performance by 20 –30 percent. I downloaded it on my Windows 7 system and it seems to have more zip than previous versions....

Opinion Cloud Truly amazing application. What it does is that is summarizes the overall opinion of the crowd for a particular topic or thread. The overall way the application summarizes results and opinions is nice and incredibly accurate. This is definitely one of the must-have extension for Chrome. FeedSquares As far as online RSS readers go, it’s hard to beat Google Reader. Sadly however, the Google Reader interface is quite boring and not very effective if you want to quickly skip through the news....
Focus Elasticity Effortlessness After enabling the new Preview theme on my Gmail account, my first thought was – “Oh, this looks exactly like my Google+ account.” So although the consistency was not a foundation design principle, it most definitely falls into the category of effortlessness. This week the Google Labs team spawned a brain child of Wave, and it’s called Shared Spaces. Google Wave, whether you love it or hate it, was the first innovative product to really challenge the entire system of email collaboration. Last August Google said they were ending support for Wave, but by no means are they killing it off. Even as we speak, Apache and open-source versions of Google Wave are in the works....
That’s where Auri comes in. It’s a work in progress and can read your favorite RSS feeds to you from your smartphone or tablet. It can even be controlled with your voice. The latter feature is pretty limited at the moment, but I’m sure it will be extended in the future. There’s other apps that will read you websites and news feeds, but Auri is unique in that if provides you with great sounding natural voices that you can change....

Included in these updates are new mouse and keyboard shortcuts which previously have not been available in consumer based Web Email clients (GMAIL included). For example, users can you Right-Click an email to get options like Reply, Reply all, forward etc… Awesome! Additionally, you can now change Hotmail over to use the exact shortcut hotkeys that you might be already acquainted with in Gmail or Yahoo Mail; certainly something handy if you’re one of the claimed “millions” that has switched to Hotmail....
Creating Passwords Made Easy The obvious use of 1Password is to store your passwords, but some users miss out on the password creation function. I’m always stuck coming up with new passwords. I used to use Wolfram Alpha to generate a password, but it’s much easier in 1Password. In the latest version, the program lets you create Diceware passwords. Those are random words like the famous XKCD suggestion of correct-staple-horse-battery. Not only are Diceware passwords more secure, but they are easier to type....
Add a PIN to Netflix Account with the Profile Lock Feature To start you will need to launch Netflix in a browser. Then log in to your profile and click your icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. And select the Account option from the menu.
