This is the first time I’ve purchased a new vehicle, and I was pleasantly surprised to see quite an array of ports, plugs, and interfaces for various gadgets. Of course, this means plugging in your smartphone to listen to your music or make hands-free calls for most people. But after a bit of tinkering, I found four additional groovy uses for the 16.4-inch color display, RCA jacks, two 120V AC power outlets, DVD player, USB port, and wireless headphones that come with my new Toyota Sienna’s Dual-View Entertainment Center....

The website bulkEcandy.com sells massive amounts of candy at some pretty groovy prices, the only catch is that you have to buy it in bulk. For the next thirty days, Microsoft is throwing in the keyboard cover for free. The announcement was made on the Official Microsoft Blog, and the offer is good for residents in the US and Canada. I have the Surface RT, and definitely recommend the Type Cover if you’re going to be doing a lot of typing. The Type cover normally goes for $119 and the Type Cover is $129. At its developer conference last June, Apple announced the next version of macOS called High Sierra, will include a new version of Safari that blocks autoplaying videos. Google announced a similar change for Chrome in a blog post this week. It’s great to see more of these web browser developers are coming to their senses. The event will be a joint effort between Google and Samsung, the Korean hardware giant. Google Maps for Android Google Maps is, just like Android, a Google product. This is why you’d expect it to get features before iOS. And in a lot of cases, it does. Weirdly enough, that wasn’t the case for the ability to change the way your car icon looks in it. A very basic feature, but one that wasn’t present, until recently, in the Android app (unlike Incognito mode, which has been available for a while now)....
The announcement was made via a post on Google Plus, and there’s also an accompanying little video. From the photos on the Project Glass site, the device looks like a thin band that sits over the user’s eye and displays information automatically or by request. Functions are voice-activated and you can see the character in the video (well, you can’t really see him, as it all looks like it’s taken from behind said glasses), checking his e-mail, getting weather information, listening to music and setting reminders among other things....
End of Free Google Photos Storage After the June 1st date, any photos you upload to Google Photos will count toward your overall storage limits. The limit is 15 GB for the free tier of Google Drive and that is shared by other Google services including Gmail, Docs, and Photos. There are a few exemptions to take note of here. Existing photos or videos uploaded before the June 1st, 2021 date won’t count toward the 15 GB of free storage....
