Windows 2007 is packed with great features, but many many new users complain about the new Navigation Ribbon.  One of my users at work, for instance, spent 20 minutes looking for the PRINT option before calling me.  Ouch. So, recently I went on a search to bring back the old Navigation File Menus from Office 2003.  Guess what. I found a simple FREE tool that does just that! UBitMenu brings back the 2003 File Menus by just adding a new Tab to the Outlook 2007 Ribbon Bar.  Honestly, it’s the best of both worlds since this free add-in will allow you to use the old school toolbar while you familiarize yourself with Office 2007 AND, it doesn’t disable any of the new features such as the mini-format bar.

  And AFTER

Very Groovy Indeed.   Limited FREE Version Now granted, UBitMenu is just one of many utils out there that bring back the legacy File Menus to Office 2007. However, I decided to talk about this one since its FREE! Well, it’s free for NON-Corporate use. However, even if you want to grab a copy for your Company, were only talking about $877.00 TOTAL for 1000 users.  That’s VERY inexpensive considering how you can lessen the impact of the Office 2007 Learning curve for your end users.  HUGE ROI in my opinion. The Installing is so simple on this one I’m not going to talk about it.  Just download it from here:   Click Here to Download UBitMenu

Run the Setup, and it will automatically inject the new File Menus into your Toolbar.  It couldn’t be easier! Questions?  Comments?  Would love to hear from you here or in the groovyForum! Comment Name * Email *
